 It is absolutely essential that you pull over and take a picture when this is the background. 
That is exactly what Meg and I decided to do. Driving back from the covered bridge in Jay, we stumbled upon this.
I'm definitely going to miss that about this area. There are so many breathtaking/amazing places to take in that I haven't even come across yet.

a day and half left in Lake Placid and I'm feeling pretty nostalgic about a lot of things. It's funny because my horoscope today says: "If you have found yourself wallowing in a pool of nostalgia and contemplating what might have been, remember that the past always looks better from here"

Recently, I've been thinking a lot about how this is the first fall I will not be returning to school since I was 5.


I am about to embark on a crazy adventure that is going to go smoothly at times, but also have bumps and hic-ups. I am ready. This fall will probably a larger learning experience than anything they could ever teach me in schooling. Everyone keeps asking me "are you excited?!?" and clearly I am extremely excited, but the nerves are starting to set in. Be with today. Everything will pan out on its own and all I can do is just ride it out.

Dear Meg Dellas,
I am very sorry that for the first time in 4 years, it is undetermined when we will be living near each other again. It has been quite a wild ride since that first day at Pitt-I'd live it all exactly the same way again.
